About Me

Hi! I’m William (Tracy) Byarlay. Welcome to my site!

My journey into healing began with a lifelong passion for health, fitness, and helping others. I studied psychology and athletic training at Emporia State University and began my career in the fitness industry at age 20, but it was my own experience with injury that shifted my focus. I understood the frustration of being sidelined and the longing to return to the life you love, which led me to study Medical and Therapeutic Massage at Heritage College with a focus on injury prevention and recovery.

Early in my practice, a mentor introduced me to the power of fascial tissue work. That moment sparked a deep curiosity and lifelong commitment to understanding the fascia—not just as a structural system, but as a key to healing trauma, pain, and dysfunction.

Over the years, I’ve found that this work is also highly effective in preparing clients for surgery and accelerating recovery afterward. By improving circulation, calming the nervous system, and creating space in the tissue, we can dramatically reduce inflammation, scar tissue buildup, and recovery time. Post-operative clients often experience quicker returns to movement, greater range of motion, and a more complete recovery—physically and emotionally.

After sustaining a traumatic brain injury, I experienced firsthand how the body processes stress. I came to a core realization that continues to shape my work: the body doesn’t distinguish between physical and emotional stress. Whether you’re dealing with an injury or unprocessed emotional pain, the physiological response is the same—tension, inflammation, dysregulation, and stored trauma.

Fascia, the connective tissue that weaves through every system in the body, plays a central role in this process. Rich in nerve endings and sensory receptors, it responds to movement, emotion, and memory. When trauma—physical or emotional—isn’t resolved, it often becomes embedded in the tissue, leading to chronic pain, postural imbalances, and emotional suppression.

For over two decades, I’ve blended clinical expertise with personal experience to develop an integrative approach to healing. My work bridges the physical and emotional layers of recovery, helping clients reconnect with their bodies, release what’s been stored, and restore balance.

I believe healing is not just about fixing what’s broken—it’s about listening to what the body has been trying to say all along.
